Hello everyone. Today my G432 headphones has arrived and I wanted to do microphone test. In my sound settings, two inputs appeared, the Logitech G432 Gaming Headphones input and the Realtek input, and I see that the only working mic input is the Realtek one. No matter how do I try to get rid of Realtek it is still the only working input. Two things I noticed is that in the Realtek mic properties it shows the jack information when in the logitech one it doesn't. And the controller information.

Please help TY in advance :)

The Realtek has jack information because there's an actual 3.5mm jack to plug into. The G432 being a USB device, doesn't have a jack to report.

Do you have something plugged into the microphone port of your computer?

G432 actually has a USB adapter for headphones jack so I have the microphone plugged like normally into 3.5mm jack.

If by normally, you mean into a 3.5mm jack on the case or the motherboard that is why you have the mic picked up on the realtek audio controller.

The USB DAC that came with the headset should have two 3.5mm jacks, one for the headset and the other for the mic unless logitech have changed it to combine both into one jack and not bothered either using the correct cable or not including an adaptor that combines both into a single 4 pole 3.5mm connector.

However, I wouldn't recommend Logitech headsets from that range as I had the predecessor to that headset and the plastics started failing a little after 6 months.

I have had some goofy problems with Realtek. I actually ended up buying an external Roccat Juke from best buy and just plugging it into a usb.

I've had a similar problem, and it was the stupidest thing.... Have you gone to the levels tab and made sure that it isn't set to 0? For some reason, I've had that happen multiple times with different headsets, different audio chips, and different computers. Was the last thing I checked the first 6/7 times.

No, I have 2 microphone jacks on the case, in both, the microphone gets picked up by Realtek... And yes I meant 3.5mm jack.

Sooooo I have had 3 boards with Realtek Audio controllers and I've never been able to get front panel audio to work with a realtek chip. Might be a good idea to be lazy like me, cut my losses and plug it into the back audio on your computer @whermi

So, just to double check, you get no noise indication on the volume meter in your sound settings at all?

Also, have you tried using the 'listen to this device' option to see if it's a software issue with whatever program not detecting it properly?

If you still don't get any feedback from it, it sounds like you might have just wound up with a defective product, unfortunately.

No, I get noise indication ONLY in the Realtek input, where I want the logitech input to be heard, but it isn't.

Yes I tried and it didn't give any effect. Still can't hear anything.
