Hello,

My issue is that my PC keeps temporarily freezing (mouse can move but whatever is open will not respond).

My specs (all purchased within the last week besides power supply):

AMD Ryzen 5 3600
MSI b450 Tomahawk
Corsair vengeance 3000mhz 16gb
Nvidia 1070

Samsung 860 evo 500gb SSD
Adata 128gb SSD
600w EVGA power supply

I completely hard reset both my hard drives and reinstalled windows to make sure windows isn't corrupted.

The freezing occurs at very random times, and typically under a small load. Temperatures are all sub 60C when the freezing happens. All known drivers are installed and windows is completed updated.

Please pose any insights on what the issue could be :(

Thank you!!

Alright so I found something. I want to know if this could potentially be an issue? My SSD (old APOTOP 128gb SSD) infrequently revs up to 100% useage and stays there and windows tabs wont load (but it doesnt seem to freeze?)... could this be an issue?

Sometimes it remains at this 100% use for much longer than that screenshot as well.

Please let me know if these could be an issue! @5x5 @Jet_ski

Check the processes and services tabs, is there an app or service that’s using the SSD? You can add disk related columns to those tabs.
