hi, when i turn on my pc this morning my cpu package is at 113 C and at 0.5ghz (temp by hwmonitor and corsair link)when it was fine last night, i have a h80i v2 cooler and it turns out it got clogged after i tap and shook it and its fine now.

at what temp does amd 1600 automatically shut down to prevent damage? does it automatically shut down? my computer was running for at least 30min at 113 C will it have significant damage?

thanks!

i heard that thermal shutdown happens at 110°c

but i saw a video where it happened at 120°c

i would just change thermal paste and keep using it

there is no point on worry if it will live a long life or if you will change it for a 4000 series next july

btw, that h80 if is starting to fail, i would remove it and put a air cooler, liquid water on that cpu has no point if you are not overclocking ot at least to 4.1ghz
