Hi all

My current build is an i7 7700, GTX 1080ti,16gb ram and an H270F MOBO.

Obviously, I am stuck with Kaby Lake unless I change my mobo.

Currently using the PC for occasional gaming and Adobe Premier Pro processing.

I have serious issues when processing 4k video from Fujifilm X H1 and i suspect the i7 7700 bottlenecks my process.

What do you think ?

To see if the CPU is a bottleneck open Task Manager and start processing Fujifilm X H1. If the CPU is pinned at 100% it's probably a bottleneck.

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

well you can whether its bottleneck or not form task manager. if its 100% pinned, then it'll bottleneck.

upgrading from 7700? i highly suggest go amd since the price is lower than intel. and they offer more thread to work like editing. like 3700X. with mobo X570 or X470. for budget go B450 Tomahawk MSI
