If the stains are white then they will be less noticeable with white fluid, if the stains are a different color then they will probably be more noticeable with white fluid.

Depends on the material of the reservoir for most acrylics staining isn't going to be really noticeable for light colors especially. With pastel white in my experience there usually will be a film that sticks and can be cleaned off during loop maintenance.
