I cant find the answer im looking for anywhere, what sort of ram do i need to run with these parts

ryzen 5 3600

ASRock b450m Steel legend

DDR4 3200 ~ 3600, preferably one with low latency.

Yeah, that should work, can you find anything with lower latency? If you have the money then you should go for lower latency & faster speed

Yeah.  All B450 boards handle all the DDR4 3200MHz RAM you'll find.

Yeah, that should work, can you find anything with lower latency?

i dont really have a big budget here thats why i dont want to get the wrong bits

Then just go with any DDR4 3200 module, if you're on a tight budget then any 3200 ram would do fine

ok thanks, just one other thing would my current ram work its Ballistix Sport LT Gray 4GB DDR4-2400 UDIMM x2

It will work but fast RAM works much better with Ryzen CPUs, so if your budget allows it upgrade to faster RAM. If you can't afford to then it's still fine.

Your motherboard could be already updated with the newest BIOS, but if you have a computer shop nearby they'll probably have older CPUs lying around and should be able to do a quick BIOS update for you.

Ok hopefully thats the case but if not i hope that the computer shops will be nice to me

I don't see why a computer shop would refuse something as simple as a BIOS upgrade. In fact I would be a bit surprised if they charge more then five dollars for it.
