So im starting up my old pc build that i just hadn't used in a while.

Here are the specs:

CPU: i5-6600k 3.5Ghz

RAM: 16gb Hyper X Furry DDR4 2133Mhz

MOBO: Z170-A

CPU AIO: NZXT Kraken (stripped screws dont know how to get them off)

GPU: XFX AMD Radeon rx 480 8gb

CASE: NZXT S340 (using stock fans)

My motherboard wont pick up my any of my fans (they're all plugged in) except for my "cpu fan" which wont go faster than 452rpm. SO my pc boots up at 85C. I have no clue what to do since i cant take off the cooler since the thumbs screws are super tight and i cant unscrew them with a screwdriver because they're stripped to hell. I just want to get this running again so i can use it now that i graduated uni.

thanks for any help

any settings in the bios that are limiting the cpu fan speed? how old is the pc? maybe the cpu fan just cant run anymore. try connecting a working fan to the other fan ports, could be either the fans or the point itself is faulty.

no limiting settings, i tried changing the port but that didnt help and the pc is only 2 years old
