Temps

So... I'm sure it helps if the latch is in the clamped position. Lol peaks at 71°C in Battlefield V.  Prime 95 is giving me these numbers...

 

Is this to be expected?

The temperature isn't in dangerous territory, so you should be fine, but lower is always better.

He's at 94c..., At stock it should be about 90 at most.

It's a 3900x. This is a repost from a different thread. I already told him his paste needs upgrading. At least the mounting is better now (was 104c last time). But he should still undervolt and buy actually good paste.

what noctua are u getting? im using an nh-u12s 2 fans and i dont like how my 3800x is gettting to 81 under long game loads

 

also hate how hwinfo 64 gives me 2 different chip set temps, one is at 58c the other is at 80c
