Inrush current at 230v is around 70A

Also PF is little lower than normal.

As I said, no PSU is perfect.

Hmm.. I did not notice that, my bad.. Maybe the user should just leave the PC on all the time, even at idle, but same could be said , for the toughpower gold.. Also it does not come with an NTC therm,which means no OTP..

Any PSU can be criticized in this way. No PSU is perfect.

@Spotty what are your opinions on this?

Also, this post is getting off topic @Spotty can you filter this chat?

If you're talking about the thermaltake tough power grand RGB that was suggested a few posts back then you're correct that it doesnt have an NTC thermistor for inrush current protection, but it does have NTC thermistors on the secondary side heatsink for OTP.

Quote

On the secondary side, four Infineon IPP041N04N G FETs regulate the +12V rail. Three NTC thermistors are installed on the same heat sink, providing information to the protection and fan control circuits.

RGB PSUs are stupid though so buy something else.

But it's on sale on Amazon for $60. So, that is a good deal I guess.

@Spotty
So if I want to stay below the $1500 budget on this list and also have a reliable PSU, what should I get? I am not worried about RGB.

I'd probably stick with the Corsair TXM you originally had. 550W would be fine for your system.
