I was upgrading my cpu from an i3 7100 to the 7600k and I did everything right i thought since it's not very hard to install a cpu and I've done it before but when I tried to turn the pc on nothing happened and the red ez debug light labeled "cpu" flashed once and the pc doesnt start. I tried re seating everything double checking everything and still was getting the same issue. I thought maybe it could be cause I need a bios update and it's not reading the cpu so I put the i3 back in and everything worked fine. There is no bent pins on the board everything appears fine. I didnt have a flash drive but with my MSI mobo you can update the bios with msi live update 6 so I was gonna try that. For some reason there was no specific update for the bios on the program like I've seen all over youtube there was just some updates one for example was called a chipset update. I updating everything and then shut my pc off and it was fine. After this I re did everything again but put the i7 back in and double checked all my wires and still was getting the same issue with the light. After this I figured maybe I just need to buy a flash drive the next day while.im at work so I put the i3 back in so I would be able to update the bios the next day and when I tried to turn the PC back on with the i3 IT WOULDNT WORK. I was getting the same light as before the red cpu ez debug light flashes for a second and then it turns off and the pc never starts up help please m

The mobo is the msi b250 m gaming pro as I stated at the top.

I actually fixed it. Some how the system fan next to the cpu fan header is messed up. If I have one of my sys fans plugged it then I get the CPU debug light and it wont turn on I unplugged it and everything is fine now lmao
