So my sisters boyfriend wanted to see my computer and spilt water over my computer case. All of my components managed to dodge liquid beside my gpu and that only got a few drops on the actually board itself. My computer boots up fine but I’m wondering did that damage my cards performance? The card I have is a rtx 2080. I’m worried even if it works that it might reduce my performance.

No, don’t see how performance would be effected unless it killed the card. Either gonna work or it isn’t.

Hopefully you cleaned it, preferably with alcohol.

Yea I cleaned it with some 99% iso alcohol right after and let it dry. Literally only like 3 little drops got on it. Thanks for the response though it type had me stressed out since I only have the card for around 2 months and this happens.
