I've been going on this page:  https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1d9_E3h8bLp-TXr-0zTJFqqVxdCR9daIVNyMatydkpFA/edit#gid=639584818  but info differs from this (also recommended)  https://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/f12/pga-am4-mainboard-vrm-liste-1155146.html#post25344552 . For instance, the ROG Strix B450-E phases differ. Anyone know if the first page holds errors? I've read the Asus manual and don't find anything. Asus tech support is forwarding my Q to engineering...

Reason I ask is I'm trying to narrow down my short list, while I wait out the availability of MSI 'MAX' boards and I'd like to have better power delivery if I go for an X chip or an 8 core down the line. (I think those improved w/'MAX' will be here in a few weeks.)

Now, as an aside, AMD will have a new socket as soon as 2021, right? So by the time I next upgrade having a better mobo may be a moot point.

Thank you,

Mac
