I have some old hardware on hand (gtx 970s) in 2 different rigs and am looking to do some upgrading to enhance my vr experience.  I have seen that the GTX 1660Ti has a really good price on it and will likely get that, however I'm curious if I would get better perfromance on the VR rig with the 2 970's in SLI or the single 1660. If the better VR experience will be with the single card I will just use the 2 cards in SLI on the other rig that my wife uses occasionally for Overwatch at 1080p. what do you guys think?

JayzTwoCents recently made a video about the death of SLI and how few devs are actually implementing it now. Best bet is to go with a single card imo
