I'm building a gaming PC for a friend. This isn't my first go around. But I'm a software guy and don't keep up with the latest and greatest hardware devices so I need some help finding a PC to fit these specs.

1. Budget & Location

The budget sits at between $300 USD - $500 USD. Cheaper is better. Try to keep it under $400 USD if possible.

2. Aim

It needs to be able to run iracing (https://www.iracing.com/membership/system-requirements/). It will be used for iracing and games of similar requirements.

3. Monitors

I am going to connect the display to an existing HDTV. No monitors are necessary.

4. Peripherals

I do not need a copy of Windows.

I do not need a hard drive. I have 3 of those sitting around not in use I will throw into it.

I will need 3 sata cables for each drive as I don't have any.

I will need a mouse. I already have a spare keyboard.

It does not need an optical drive.

Should look for a used RX 470/480/570/580 for closer to $100, and maybe use that money to buy a better used CPU like a Ryzen 5 CPU.

The motherboard is fine for up to an R7 1700, it'll just limit overclocking a bit because of the VRM.

Case and power supply prices suck right now. RAM is super cheap.
