Massive issue with game latency.

I have been using my broadband for quite a while now, and for half a year its been perfect latency wise in gaming, bullets etc register immediately.

 

My ping hasn't changed (7ms) speedtest, but I'm getting INSANE amounts of latency, like 1000ms+ or what it feels like. This is the same sort of thing that happend when I used 4g hot spotting, where it would say 50ms ping but the latency was ridiculous, dying round corners etc.

 

I know ping is only one part of end to end latency.

 

What can I do?

 

Done a hard rest of router etc to no avail.

Do you have any background programs that are using your network at the same time? You should check for that + run a malware scan in case anything nasty is using up your resources.

No backround apps. I don't think I have malware either.
