when does the updated switch come out

so i really want to get a nintendo switch, the problem is that recently nintendo made a new model with better battery life

does anyone know when it comes out?

Later this year, in time for holidays. no exact release date, and will be sold alongside OG model so ypu have to find the new model yourself

and the differentiating factor is just the model number?
