Greetings all ?

I have an HPTC based on a thin ITX motherboard and both the SATA ports have drives on them.  I have an external enclosure for a slim disc drive that I have been plugging into USB ports, but when I was replacing one of the drives, I noted that I easily have room to mount it inside the case; are there any mSata to internal USB cables before I hack two cable together?

Thank you!

@Arisaka

What do you mean by "slim disc drive"? Like an external DVD reader read over USB?

Screwdriver specs: Long, pointy. Turns things. Some kind of metal.

A slim disc drive, like the one in laptops.  I have an external case that lets it plug into USB.

I was able to find mSata to type A USB plug, but I am curious to know if there is a mSata to an internal USB header; crappy photoshop for effect.

Just get an internal port and extend the mSata to USB A, then USB A to internal header

(Also I could have sworn mSATA was a different connector, and that's Slimline SATA?)

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

you're right, that is a slimline Sata; forgot that... thanks for catching :)

And I saw I could use that sort of A to Header cable, but that is alot of bulk and length I don't need, which is why id just hack them into tone cable.  I am hoping there is just one cable that can do it, mostly because my soldering skill aren't good :)
