Weird Mac Bootcamp Issue

Does anyone know why MacBook Pro's (2018 i7 MacBook Pro with Blackmagic AMD 580 eGPU) in bootcamp can't use mics from audio jacks or Bluetooth headsets? Seems to be a driver issue but finding the driver seems to be a nightmare. Right now I'm using my webcams mic input as a rigged up solution but that wont help me if I need to go mobile for a while.
