After swapping 8700k for 9900k my RAM won't OC to 3000 mhz

PCPP list

I just swapped my pc CPU from a 8700k to a 9700k. After changing, I turned on turbo boost on the 9900k to run at 5.0ghz all cores and enabled XMP.

When loading into Windows, windows is showing me that my RAM is only running at 2133 mhz. I tried disabling XMP and re-enabling but to no avail.

Is my mobo insufficient? I am on the most recent BIOS version.

Get CPU-Z. Task manager is wrong a lot.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I had a similar issue, except I had 2 mismatched ram kits. removing the mismatch solved it

I have 1 2x8 ram kit. It ran at 3000 mhz just fine prior to 9900k upgrade

Here's a userbenchmark for proof
