Hey, guys!

I'm OCing on a ASRock B450 Pro4 with a R5 3600. My goal is to get 3600Mhz with the tightest timings possible.

I know OC isn't guaranteed at all, etc., etc., but which one would YOU pick?

All of them are 2x 8Gb.

  1. G.skill Ripjaws 4 3000Mhz 15-15-15-35F4-3000C15D-16GRK ) for $144;
  2. Corsair Vengeance 3000Mhz 15-17-17-35 ( CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 ) for $125;
  3. Crucial Ballistix TUF Edition 3200MHZ 16-18-18 ( BLS8G4D32AESTK ) for $137;
  4. G.skill Ripjaws V 3200Mhz 16-18-18-38F4-3200C16D-16GVGB ) for $137;

I've never OCd and I'm unsure what to prioritize, specially taking money into consideration. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, bignaz!

Guaranteed B-die would go waaaaay past my budget. The cheapest 3200 cl14 around here (F4-3200C14D-16GTZRX) goes for $270.

There are also some 3200 cl15, which might be B-die (F4-3200C15D-16GTZKW) ? They go for $197. Still a bit too much.

I was wondering that, since I definitely won't go past 3600 Mhz (because Ryzen), an E-die or D-die (or even some Hynix / Micron) would be enough. Nothing too fancy.

Is it reasonable to expect one of those two 3200 cl16 up there to reach 3600 at cl18-ish?
