PC Random freeze

My PC just randomly freezes and restarts this happens completely randomly I've had it happen in multiple different games and, I've had it happen when only Discord is open and even when I type my password in when entering windows. There isn't a set amount of time between each crash either sometimes my PC can run fine for a week with no freezes and then a freeze happens. Might this be my Hard-drive about to go out What Do?

this could be caused by hardware failure. fastest way to diagnose is to swap parts that you may have lying around

unlikely, but possible

you can use a tool like crystal disk info to check the status of the drives

Do you think it might be a problem with my GPU I just got a 1070 but its been working fine for about 2-3 months now no problems

What is the entire build ? Did the freezes occur after installing your new GPU ?

Just a new GPU but before the new GPU was on a 970 which the Display drivers would stop working and make my game reload all the graphics

Since I've been on this 1070 for about 2-3 months its been fine apart from the new freezing/restarting which started happening about 1 week ago
