Fender Jazz issues

I have a Fender Jazz bass thats got at least 14 years under the hood and its been throwing me problems lately. While the volume knobs are maxed it still sounds quieter than usual, almost to where I can hardly hear what i'm playing. I've resoldered all of the connections to the knobs, the jack itself, and the pickups but to no yield. Is there a possibility that a new set of pickups can fix this?
