Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone has received the BIOS update yet that fixes Destiny 2 not launching

on Ryzen 3000 platforms, and if so what motherboard you have from which manufacturer?

Or if anyone is running Ryzen 3000 but doens't have issues running Destiny 2? And if so how they did that?

Thanks in advance

Hi No I have the same issue were in for a long wait ! If you think about it all the other games and windows 10 stuff runs just fine except some Linux stuff and Destiny 2 and I bet getting Destiny 2 to run on a Asus MSI ect... is not high on there list. I might have to eat my words but this is Bungie's issue not AMD and motherboard manufactures. Linux OS gets updated daily almost so that might not be so bad. Also lets hope this is a fix for all series motherboards not just the X570 that would be a huge issue for me.

Same, D2 is one of my most played games. If I straight up can't play it on Ryzen 3000 I gotta consider switching back :(

OH that would be really hard decision I have 2 computers one is my old one that is a FX 8350 and works just fine with D2 the other is my new build and of coarse that has the 3600 so it will just have to wait...If it goes on to long I might just buy a 2600 on say black friday to get things going till some nit wit works this BS out.

  • 1 month later...

Destiny 2 is now working on my Ryzen 3600x after a chipset driver update. Get it from AMD, not your Mobo manufacturer.
