I built my computer around late May - early June, and a few weeks ago my computer just stopped connecting to WiFi. My motherboard is the ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming ITX, which has onboard WiFi. The day that it happened I moved the antenna (which is a little box) from behind my computer to on top of my computer to increase speed, which it immensely did... for the time being. When I powered my computer back on only about an hour later from sleep mode, the WiFi just completely stopped working. I didn't move the computer, antenna, anything, during this time. I've done everything I could think of to fix it, from deleting the Intel Wireless thing from Device Manager, turning my computer on and off, etc. What could possibly have gone wrong? It's getting really frustrating using my small laptop for everything.

Did you unplug the wireless adapter for a little while then plug it back in? might have been screwed up during a power outage or something.

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

No, there was no power outage between the time it worked and didn't work, I only put my computer on sleep mode for about an hour and when I turned it back on the WiFi didn't work. The wireless adapter is built into the motherboard so I can't unplug it but I can unplug the antenna box if that would do anything.

It's not like it;s soldered though, you can just take out the m-sata or mini PCI-e adapter and put it back in, just follow the wires from the antenna on the back of the motherboard, it might be contained inside a box for htem.

In the picture, the silver box is what the antenna is plugged into. The only wires coming off of the box are those tiny red and black wires that go into a little white thing. I don't think there is anything I can disconnect.

There's just a screw on the bottom of the motherboard that holds the entire wifi enclosure in place, the PCI-e slot is under it with the wifi card and antenna attached to it, just unscrew that. The CMOS battery shouldn't have to be removed either.

You shouldn't have to take out your AIO, just gotta be able to turn the motherboard around.

When unplugging everything on the back in order to take out the motherboard, I found that the connector had been broken. This is probably the problem and I've already emailed ASRock customer support. Hopefully this is the only problem and I don't need to deal with taking my computer apart.
