Windows 10 - Cellular

Yoola

Is there a way I could use Windows 10 cellular network without (Huawei) Mobile Partner? If I uninstall the app, Cellular option disappears from Windows 10 settings.
The app seems to cause me a lot of issues, BSOD's and other weird crashes that didn't happen before installing it. I have Huawei E3276 LTE stick and I'm stuck with it for a few weeks until I get back to proper copper.

While Windows 10 natively support LTE (as well as phone calls via mobile and SMS/MMS), you need drivers.

If your LTE modem has crappy drivers, then sadly there is not much you can do.

You can see if you can get alternative drivers, where the driver is for a different device but uses the same modem chip and hope it works... but that is not ensured that this will work, as the setup might just reject from installing because their brand device is not detected or it may cause other issues or not work right as the implementation of the LTE modem chip is different despite the same chip.
