PC won't completely install windows

I've been trying to install windows on my new pc build. Every time I start to install it, my computer crashes and I have to restart. After the first crash, I got and still get an error message that said that the installation can't continue and the computer needs to restart. I don't know what the problem is because I have tried using all types of windows media except for an ISO at this point and nothing has worked. Could it be a problem with my drive or other hardware? or is it just a problem with the windows installation?
