How do i update the bios without my pc posting.

What motherboard do you have? Some boards have an emergency recovery mode where you can flash the BIOS from a USB stick by holding down a key combination upon power on, while others have a button on the back to force a BIOS flash. (ASUS calls this BIOS Flashback, for instance.) However, if your board is bricked, or you have a newer CPU than the current BIOS supports, you might be out of luck.

Your board might have Flashback, so you can consult the manual on ASUS website. However, if you're trying to put a newer AMD Zen CPU in it and your board doesn't have Flashback, you'll need to find a temporary AM4 (or compatible) CPU so you can boot & flash the BIOS first.
