I can't tell if this is from my monitor or from my graphics card but, I came back from traveling, and when i opened my pc the screen was zoomed in so the stuff on the edges couldnt be seen (such as windows on screen button). After a long talk with support i reinstalled my graphics card drivers. (GTX 1070 TI) When it opened it was the right size but screen was very low quality. Changing my screen to 75 hertz made it zoom in. Making it 70 hz made it good quality and size, but it changed color abit, but not where it was a big deal. Then after trying to play games i tried playing csgo where when i opened it, it was terrible quality. then making it windowed fullscreen it looked good. tried minecraft, fullscreen: lowquality, windowed: good qualty. Why do all fullscreen games look low quality. They also darken colors

i only had somewhat similar color changes chamging refresh rates on a monitor, not zoom or low quality image, it could mean that monitor itself has problems

be sure to check the refresh rate on windows first, then on each game be sure to set the right refresh rate that should match the one windows is set to

otherwise i would blame monitor as faulty, for the zoom and low quality problems

my monitor has been working flawlessly since november, what would cause it to mess up like that
