No Signal

So I installed a new 3700x into my system which replaced my 1600 I had before. On startup tho my screens are all black saying no signal. My keyboard also doesn't  light up. I have the motherboard im running it on is a b350. Could that be the reason?

what motherboard are you using and have you updated the BOS?

No i figured I'd do that from the bios

your motherboard might not support the new chips natively.

have you tried a bios update?

Was going to do that but monitors aren't getting a signal

Aight:

• Remove 3700x
• Put the 1600 back
• Update bios
• Test with the 3700x again.

Should do the trick.

If not you may have to get a new motherboard.

u need a compatible chip to do the bios update for most motherboard

since u have your old cpu, insert it and do bios update with it

Im not able to find my bios update on the MSI site i see all else but no b350 Tomahawk Arctic
