Hi! I just recently got my second monitor, about a week back. I've set it up vertically next to my main display, that being a 144hz 1440p panel. The new monitor I just need for some text-based apps and Discord to be open while I play games, such as CW monitor so I can also check my temps and utilization, so it's 1080p at 60hz. Chrome's hardware acceleration is disabled, and in nVidia settings, I made sure the display scaling for both is handled by the GPU. I'm running an i7-7700k and GTX 1080, the 1080 should have no issues running an ancient game like League of Legends while having a Chrome tab open at the same time, should it?

Whenever I get in games, it's just... constantly choppy. Like I'm being limited down to 60fps or something of the sort, it's not like I get lags for a few seconds at a time, but despite getting my normal FPS, it just looks incredibly, incredibly choppy all the time. Turning off the monitor doesn't work, but plugging it out entirely does. So... what's the issue, is there any sort of fix?
