Computer Blackscreens Within Games

I've had this problem before but it solved its self on it's own but now it's back and worse... whenever I start up a steam game like gmod for example I get around 2 minutes in the game then it just blackscreens with sound looping then I have to restart my tower. I dont know what to do as it was working fine all day on the game and now I cant get 5 minutes with out a crash please help.

Try to underclock your gpu using MSI Afterburner (both - core and ram) as low as you can and test.

I do not ask for that because no matter how specs are, answer will be the same. Unless somehow detailed spec can help in this case then tell me how. I assume that it's not PSU because symptoms will be different (power off instead of freeze).
