Why can't it just work? [10Gbe FreeNAS]

I know this is old thread but I am looking at 10gb broadcom for FcoE like mentioned previously.  Also some notes on the behavior of the card.

 

I noticed you aren't utilizing the cache/log drive for your zfs volume.  That task manager screenshot drops then goes solid... then drops.

 

This looks like caching isn't right on your NAS.  You're utilizing all your read write without caching and getting inconsistent networking results.
