I am starting to build out my setup and would like use my MacBook as a secondary display setup and was wondering about accessories for ease of use. What are your recommendations? I am looking for good keyboard mouse pairings and any other advice

Not sure what you're going for...

You want to use your Macbook as an additional display? Or you want to use your Macbook as a secondary PC?

Sorry for the lack of clarity. I am using my MacBook as a secondary pc while gaming. I want improve the setup so that I can better interact with it. I have a second mouse Logitech g600 that I am using currently and a Logitech k380 which is fine but would like to improve the setup and was just wondering what others might be doing. For instance is the magic keyboard and mouse worth the money are there better or good alternatives. Money is secondary to utility.

Ah. I'd just use the keyboard and trackpad in the macbook personally. Can't beat the trackpad for navigating MacOS with all its gesture support.

If you really want something external, I'd make sure the keyboard is MacOS friendly with its layout (command keys and such). Really it's up to you as you're the one using it. I think Apple has a USB trackpad if that's something you're into. Haven't used any of their newer mice, so I can't comment on those, and the only keyboards I've used are the thin aluminum and white wired ones with a USB port on each side, so I can't comment on any of their new keyboards either.
