Setting up a streaming rig... (<--- Noob)

I'm thinking of setting up my pc to do some minor YouTube gaming vids and after doing some research on what I will need to create one I've been left more confused than informed. I'm not wanting to sink a ton of money in this because it will only be a hoby, nothing serious. I do have some experience with building and repairing pc's but not much in streaming. Just need some actual constructive info on inexpensive hardware, software and video editing stuff. Thanks for any info you might be able to provide in advance...

What are the specs of the computer you currently have?

I once gave Luke and Linus pizza.

Dedicated streaming PC is not something you want to build for anything minor. You should do that with your main rig, or use some other older PC in house.
