I7-8700K on a Asus mothorboard doesnt allow me to set ram to its normal speed while on the 5 GHz Preset for Overclocking?

Does the 5 GHz preset on the Asus motherboards not allow you to set the ram speed any higher then 2133? like my Ram is advertised at 3000 MHz, and allows me to set it to 3000 MHz with no OC on my CPU, but when i put on the preset 5 GHz OC on my 8700k, it just goes straight into boot manager when a XMP profile is set. Please help.

I would just manually OC anyway - the auto OC to be too much voltage anyway

When I used the presets it does that. Don’t recall if I could go in and change it but don’t see why I couldn’t.

I stopped using the preset because of the voltage it ran at. Kinda pointless to run it when I have to change so much. Performance was shit with the ram speed at 2166 compared to the default 3000.
