XMP settings can easily be seen on BIOS. That will make sure your RAM is running on right speed (they are premade settings basically)
I am not certain with Intel mobos, but for my AMD mobo, i was able to use m.2 nvme ssd on my first slot just by putting one there. If i want to use my other one, id need to not use my SATA 1 port and something else.
Not sure if this helps anything-
But yea,  u are for sure able to use m.2 drives.

thanks for that but please help me out a bit more  xmp profile?? and is there another setting to use an m.2 drive as well? your help is apprecaiated as it is a few years since i built my last p.c

Check the user manual that came with your motherboard. It will describe the M.2 slot(s), what can be inserted into each, (there are two types of M.2 drives popular at the moment. NVMe and SATA III), what BIOS settings if any are required to enable the slot, and what if any other ports may be affected by those settings.
