Can't Manage managed Switch

Go to solution Solved by L4rgo,

I spent about three hours fussing with this. Just figured out Cisco console cables don't work on this model. Made a rollover cable as suggested somewhere on google and it works now.

I recently acquired a managed switch with a model number SA-01-GE-48T

At the moment it functions fine, but I can't seem to access it to manage it.

I attempted to access it via a serial connection but the default settings I found for it don't seem to work, my assumption is that someone changed it. Okay, fine, just factory reset over the web GUI. Only problem is, other than that I don't have a password even if I could access the GUI, is that this router's configuration address is actually configured as a static external IP address. I have no idea how to go about factory resetting it or even attempting to access it. Any ideas?
