Is there away to record at 4K but out put to a 1080p monitor with an Avermedia live gamer 4K

I have a live gamer 4K inside my pc, I also have a PS4 pro that I would like to record 4K content on, is if possible to have a 4K input going in the card, but on the hdmi out would be a 1080p signal to my monitor, or do I need to buy a downscaler, if so, any recommendations on wich one I should buy (ones that aren’t to expensive too)
