Help with installing a new SSD

I just got an ssd and i wanted to make it run for my games. But when I go to disk management it always crashes I don't know what to do please help.

Does it still crash if you unplug the ssd?

Can you open diskmanagement if you:

 

"windowskey + r" and then paste this "diskmgmt.msc" (without the " obviously)  -> enter

 

Can you prove a screenshot of the "crash" or even better the error message?

it doesn't exactly crash but it wont let me create a "New Simple Volume" without loading for a long time and then some error comes and i cant do anything to the drive except deleting the volume and try to make a new one

What SSD do you have?

If its a Samsung one maybe you could use the software that samsung provides. Partition something
