MicroSD exploitation rate

Hey guys, the question might be a bit obscure in this day and age, but bare with me. Its about using files(mostly music) on my phone's SD card. Does using them regularly, like listening to music/watching videos daily, have a noticible impact on the card's lifespan or does it only hit the card when they are saved/moved/deleted?

 

For some reason my cards tend to die faster than I think they should, the last one kicked the bucket few weeks ago. Tho in that case I found out after the fact that it was a counterfeit.(bought from a brick and mortar, big chain store!! - double check your cards lads, no matter where they come from)

 

Also while I'm here, I'm about to buy a new one and I'm looking at 32gb either Samsung Evo+(10£), SanDisc Ultra(13£) or SanDisc Extreme(20£) and I can't figure out if there are any meaningful differences worth paying extra for, Extreme has a 30 year guarantee, I guess that'd be a good sign for its endurance? I'm pretty out of loop when it come to these things so I'd really appreciate any advice you can spare, thanks in advance.

From my experience SD cards have a decent endurance. Normal use would make it wear out slightly as with any other storage device but it seems you could have been just unlucky.

Ok that's what I thought, thanks. Tho I still haven't been able to figure out if there are any noticible differences between these models.:/

Hey I ended up getting Samsung EVO+ 32GB, based on past expiriences I've decided to thoroughly make sure its not a fake and from the outset everything looked spot on but then I ran the test speeds and they are weird, it this a good card? Results are on sceens bellow, sorry for those being photos but I ran the test on an old laptop since I don't have a SD adapter for my pc and moving screenshots from there would've taken an hour. Wich I guess could be one of the reasons for the results, also I used the included adapter, not sure if that can affect it?
