I upgraded my build a little over a year ago and picked up a new GPU. The one I currently have installed is the "ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 3GB Dual-Fan". I am currently running into some slight issues running games on higher settings such as Warframe, note I am also running Wallpaper Engine, and was just wondering if I need a new GPU to play upcoming games and some of the ones I still play and if so what are some good options? I am still using a power supply from 2014, the "LEPA B550-SA 550W ... 80 PLUS BRONZE", my CPU is the "AMD Ryzen 5 1600", and my resolution is "1920 x 1080". I'm assuming these are the main things to take into account. I have a budget of up to $400 but would like to spend less if I can still get good quality at the lower price. Any and all ideas would be appreciated.

I’ve just bought a Vega 56 for like 250. A 64 would be in your budget though

I would agree but I have my doubts about the PSU

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I would buy a used Vega 56/1070ti, and upgrade your PSU to something more reliable, with at least 550w. Use the PSU tier list if needed.

Vega 56 is a 210W part 64 is 300, plus the 65W CPU. 365W and change should be fine

Not the amount, Vega has demanding transients that are too hard on a PSU with ill equipped protections, and that PSU is hard to find details about

Whats your thoughts on a rtx 2060? It appears to be similar to a 1070ti and seems to be quite a bit cheaper.

Also looking into a power supply does the "Seasonic FOCUS Plus 650 Gold" seem like a good option? I also see ones like the "Cooler Master MPY-6501-AFAAG-US MWE 650 Gold" that are cheaper but have some worse reviews is the quality worth the money for the difference?

2060 cheaper than a used 1070ti? They are both similar, sonit shouldn't matter what you get.

Seasonic makes good PSUs, Cooler master doesn't. The quality is worth it. Also, check out the PSU tier list on these forums, they can help.
