pre-built pc GPU upgrade

i have a mid tower pre-built lenovo thinkcenter with a core i5 2400 and 4g of ram, it is a 64bit system and it runs win10 enterprise (originally it was running win7). it has a full aize pcie slot but  o extra power cables, and i dont know the power of the psu (i would say around 250)

 so my question are:

1- what are the compatible GPUs for it? (my gou budget is 100$)

2- and are sata to power adaptors safe to use?
