Help regarding PINout

I have this MWE GOLD fully modular Cooler Master SMPS.

I am planning to go for a full length custom cable.

I have 2 doubts

One with the color coding

Two with the 24-28 mapping.

 

This  What I have understood.

for 8 pin CPU and PCI-e

(1,2,3,4) of  PSU side top line goes to {1,2,3,4} numbered slots in CPU side and PCI-e side

same way 5678 of PSU to 5678 of CPU/PCI-e. Now what is with the color Legend I am little confused.

 

In the same way 24pin MOBO side to 18+10Pin SMPS side. I am unable to understand color.

Can I blindly go with 1 Mobo to {1(18PIN PSU) and 1(10PIN PSU)    top first pin in both 18pin and 10pin } i.e; we split the Wire 1 from mobo to 18PIN and 10PIN on PSU. 

Whats with Color Legend.

 

Same way please also explain SATA and MOLEX

This is what scares me.

 

You have doubts about the colors?  You don't understand color?

 

Orange goes to orange.  Red goes to red.  Yellow goes to yellow.

 

Not sure what's left to understand?

Take the case of Mobo to PSU. can any read from PSU side that is {1,10} from 18 PIN and {4,5,9,10} in 10PIN can go to any of the {9,10,11,16,18,21} of MOBO side 24Pin? Thats my doubt

All of the +3.3V come from one "rail".  All of the +5V come from one "rail".  Any of the +12V comes from one "rail" (in your case).

 

That's it.  You're overthinking it.
