I am going on vacation for a month and would like to play games on my computer. Sadly my laptop is as good in games as a loaf of bread is good at running so i was thinking that i can stream steam games to it from my home pc. The only problem is that i have to be connected to the same network as the home pc to stream which i will be not as i will be in a different country. Is there a way i can remotely connect to my lan and stream games to my laptop?

There's plenty of ways to do this. Best is a VPN.

However, I'll tell you now, unless you're playing games that latency doesn't matter, the connection will not be good enough to have a decent experience.

Playing games on my laptop is not really a decent experience so it doesn't really matter as i am pretty much used to bad gameplay quality

I don't understand the want to play video games when going away on a holiday.....

As for a solution though....you'd probably be best using Hamachi + Steam InHome Streaming.

You'll need a decent upload though of at least a few Mbit, and you'll want to keep it under ~100ms or it could get pretty laggy

I'd take a look into SoftEther VPN.

There's quite a few guides on Youtube of how to set it up, both server and client side.

For streaming games, I'm not too sure on the best option for that, I'm not too familar with it.
