Okay this has a bit of a story behind it. Back in 2016 i bought a new motherboard for my 4790k, i was changing chases and wanted to do a color change to match, after alot of searching i found a motherboard i liked to work with, z97 msi gaming 9. i could only find it for sale on ebay. i got it just to find out the pcie lanes wouldnt work. The person i got it from on ebay kept saying it was a new board and nothing was wrong with it. wouldnt give me a refund and ebay woudnt help ether. so i tried my luck with msi. MSI even tried to figure out what was wrong and was going to let me send it in to get it fixed, BUT it ended up bring a board not sold in the US so they wouldnt fix it for me... i ended up buying a msi gaming 6 and built my pc.

Now i have the issue that the pcie lanes will occasionally stop detecting my gpus, it looks like the wight of the cards is finally braking them. the computer has been moved alot over the years since then. i was cleaning out my old pc stuff and i found my gaming 9 motherboard. i was going to use it as decoration. i was cleaning dust off of it when i noticed a bent pin.  I tried to fix it using Linus method. i want to try and see if this fixed it but i dont want to burn out my cpu. how does this look?

Can you circle which pin that originally bent?

I came to the conclusion that the pin isn't perfectly there yet. Needs a tiny bit of adjustment away towards the middle hole where the dye usually sits when seated.

I matched the top of the perfect pins parallel with the top of the pin that was bent and by examining the other pictures from where the angle of the picture was taken it tells me it was definitely bent more towards the middle of the socket.
