What do you mean by bad? If you mean XFX as a company they have some of the best customer service out there. The card itself is good and the cooler is really nice as well. Just make sure you have a semi well ventilated case. And P.S. for most board partners the GPUs are the exact same. The only difference is the coolers and what features they might add themselves.

Great card, one of my friends has one and it works great. Very quiet(not as quiet as my MSI 660Ti) and runs pretty cool.

Like the previous reply said, make sure you have a well ventilated case. Open type cards throw pretty much all of their heat inside the case which can bring up CPU temps.
If you plan to get another 7950 for crossfire in the future, I recommend getting a blower type card.

Like TechFan@ic said, the XFX 7950 is voltage locked. I would recommend the HIS Radeon HD 7950 HIS IceQ X2 card.

Some 7950's and 7970's are known to have coil whine. My particular MSI 7950 has it but it's not nearly as bad as it could be. Be wary of that in reviews.

Great card by a great company is all I have to say.

If you get a card with coil whine I would suggest to send it back and get a new one as it is a defective card.

The first step to insanity is believing in your sanity.
