The "dir"? This was ticked already I see.

well that's your problem. You need to rename it to index.html or you need to define index_placeholder.html in the DirectoryIndex configuration

Hey guys,

I uploaded my websites files to Plesk and want to access it but all I get is 403: You do not have permission to access this document.

Can you tell me how to solve this?

Thanks in advance

The directory that the files are saved into, needs to be accessible by Plesk.

So whatever user Plesk is running as, needs at a minimum read permission on the files in that directory.

Edit: If you're trying to browse a directory, permissions are probably set up so you cant do that as it introduces a security issue.

Have you checked the error_log ?

Have you gone through Plesk's support articles? Such as https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/214528485-Cannot-access-a-website-directory-in-Plesk-403-Forbidden

So you definately uploaded the files into /var/www/vhosts/domainname.com/httpdocs/coinpages/  ?

And it definately includes one of the index files? (index.html,index.cgi,index.pl,index.php,index.xhtml,index.htm,index.shtml)

If so try this..... Plesk > Tools & Settings > Apache Web server settings > select "dir module" > click OK

well that's your problem. You need to rename it to index.html or you need to define index_placeholder.html in the DirectoryIndex configuration
