Advice choosing Motherboard ?

Not sure if I've gone about this the right way round but need some advice choosing a motherboard ...

The only components I've chosen so far are, CPU i9 9900k, GPU Radeon Pro Duo, CPU Cooling Noctua NH-D15, case Corsair Carbide SPEC-06. Because the Cooler is really big not sure about overhang limiting the RAM's space. Probably want one 1tb 2.5 SSD and / or one M.2 haven't decided just yet, maybe onboard sound, Ethernet and / or Wifi, but will need a Thunderbolt port as I have a Wacom cintiq pro 13. All to be powered by Prime Titanium Fanless.

IMO, you should go for a Z390 top/high end mobo With good VRM.

Something like MSI Z390 ACE or Godlike

Thanks for the replies so far. I don't have it yet will be another couple of months.

When it comes to HDMI and Thunderbolt, are these connected to the Mobo or GPU ? Also, this is more a workstation(ish) not for gaming.

What do you mean you don't know how it picks a motherboard, under the add CPU cooler section the motherboard should be there. And also, if you are making a workstation build, why not go for an AMD thread ripper chip, or wait till ryzen 3000 comes out? They are better than Intel for productivity anyways.
