Hello! I'm on budget but I own this system which I feel it's a bit old for today's games.

The goal would be to play in ultra 1080p 60hz and later on do some streaming if it's possible.

This is my actual system:

i7 920 @2.67ghz
14 GB ram ddr3 1600MHZ
Asus Rampage II Gene
GPU: Asus Strix gtx 1060 6gb
PSU: Corsair TX 750 v2
Case: HAF 912
250 GB ssd and 1TB HDD

Budget: $400-450
country: Venezuela (but I will buy the parts in US)

I prefer to only upgrade mobo and cpu, since case it's still fine for me and shipping cases to my country it's kinda expensive.

I've bought the 1060 2 years ago but a friend told me that the GPU was going to bottleneck with the motherboard for being PCIE 2.0. so if you could help me evaluate the best option for me I would be very grateful.

Well in a few weeks AMD will release their new CPUs, potentially driving current pricing even lower than it already is.  Worth waiting to see.

Should be able to grab a nice CPU/Mobo/RAM combo for your price point and max your bang/buck.

hm... maybe try a nice x56xx?

Mmm... The mobo it's kind of dying idk why... It has one faulty ram slot, and the other one just sometimes boot and if it doesn't I have to get out the ram and clean it and that's the only way it boots. That's why i was thinking of building something new. But which model of xeon do u recommend? Or will be a better option buying a x56xx and stick with this build

x56xx is a xeon

i mean chips like the x5650, x5670 and x5690

but that's if you want to stick with 1366, otherwise i highly recommend ryzen for new builds
