Headphone splitter not working

I've bought this headset on amazon (Headset) and it comes with only one 3.5mm jack and it comes with a splitter and I connected the headset and splitter then connected it to my computer case (The case) and then when I put in the speakers it shows up on windows and then I put in the microphone it disconnects the speakers and let the microphone work and it wont let both of them be connected at the same time. I had also tried to put the splitter into my motherboard (The Motherboard) and still the same problem happens.
